Travel Advisory for OLT Patrons – Saturday, July 25

Please allow extra time when travelling to Ottawa Little Theatre today. There are several traffic disruptions in the area, and access around the theatre may be more difficult than usual.

Road closures and traffic impacts:

• Rideau Street, from Cumberland Street to King Edward Avenue, is closed on Saturday, July 25 from 7:30 PM until Sunday, July 26 at 10:00 AM for road resurfacing work.
• Rideau Street from Waller Street to King Edward Avenue will also have weekend closures from Friday, July 24 at 6:00 PM until Monday, August 17 at 6:00 AM for asphalt removal and paving work.
• Additional closures and traffic impacts are affecting nearby streets, including parts of Besserer Street and Cumberland Street.
• King Edward Avenue is expected to experience heavier-than-usual weekend traffic.

Parking and arrival recommendations:

• If possible, approach from the east side of King Edward Avenue and look for street parking in that area.
• We recommend avoiding routes west of King Edward Avenue.
• If coming from the west, consider using Laurier Avenue: turn right onto Laurier, continue past Cumberland Street and King Edward Avenue, then find parking.
• If coming from Quebec, parking is available in the JPark lot between the residence and the theatre.

If you are taking public transit, please check OC Transpo service updates before leaving.

Please plan to arrive early to allow extra time for traffic, parking, and walking to the theatre.
