Open Auditions for Calendar Girls, Dec. 5

Open audition for Ottawa Little Theatre’s production of Calendar Girls, by Tim Firth will be held Nov. 28 and Dec. 5. This play is based on the movie of the same name, which is based on the true story of eleven WI (Women’s Institute) members who posed nude for a calendar to raise money for the Leukaemia Research Fund. This is not a show about stripping down for a calendar. It’s about loss and friendship, dignity and community, and having each others’ backs.
