Ottawa Little Theatre's Playwright's Weekend is an annual opportunity to participate in the development of new Canadian plays. Each year we invite the winners of the National One-Act Playwriting Competition to town to celebrate their submissions. The weekend is open to the public and includes rehearsed readings of the winning plays directed and performed by OLT volunteers. Audiences are also encouraged to join in on the discussion of the work with the writers and dramaturg. In addition a playwriting workshop is offered for interested writers.
