EODL 1952 Regional Festival entry (full-length)

"Candida" was performed again with the same cast on Feb 29, 1952, as one of the OLT entries into the Eastern Ontario Regional Drama Festival hosted in Peterborough (Feb 23-Mar 1). Betty Zimmerman replaced John Hards as director. The newspaper photo is from the 1952 production.

Florence Fancott was a close contender for the Best Actress award, but the play ultimately missed out on all awards some of which went to the OLT's Saturday Players production of "The Enchanted".
