EODL 1961 Regional Festival entry (full-length)

"The Living Room" was OLT's full-length entry into the Eastern Ontario Regional Drama Festival hosted in Cobourg from March 16-18, 1961 where it was performed on Saturday March 18.

Adjudicator Roland McNicholl selected "The Living Room" as the Best Production winner. It also won Best Director (Ian Fellows), Best Actress (Mary Miller), Best Supporting Actress (Freda Zachary), and Best Visual Presentation including sets and costumes.

Its Best Production win made it the EODL entry to the group of 14 regional finalists from across the country considered for participation in the Dominion Drama Festival taking place in Montreal in May 1960, but it was not one of the eight chosen by the DDF adjudicators for the final competition.
