This two-act musical is an original work by Ottawa composer John Marier based on the book of the same name by Ottawa writer Claude C. Aubrey.

"The King of the Thousand Islands" was presented over six consecutive Saturdays at Rideau, Ridgemont, Woodroffe, Laurentian and Fisher Park High Schools, and Glebe Collegiate.
