EODL 1948 Regional Festival (full-length) and Dominion Drama Festival entry

This was a remount of the 1946-47 season production of "Papa Is All" with the same cast but a different crew. It was performed for one night at the Little Theatre as a "warming up" presentation before heading to Kingston on Feb. 14 as the ODL entry into the Eastern Ontario Regional Drama Festival.

There it was awarded the Kingston Trophy for Best Three-Act Play and the Best Actor Award (Bernard McManus). Its Best Production win made it eligible for an invitation from the Dominion Drama Festival Committee which it ultimately received.

It was performed on April 26 at the 1948 DDF hosted in Ottawa at the Little Theatre from April 26 to May 1. There it was awarded the Festival Plaque for the best English play exclusive of the Bessborough Trophy winner which went to London Little Theatre's production of "Saint Joan". "Papa is All" also received honorable mentions for the performances of Jessie Pitkethly and Bert Adkins.
