This production was postponed from Dec 13-15, 1923, when one of the stars of "Chitra", Mr. Basil Morgan, who along with Miss Nella Jefferis was invited to bring this production from Toronto, was ordered by the courts not to leave Toronto as he was to appear as a witness in an important civil case!
