Course Description: This afternoon course in Acting is designed for the avid theatre-goer who is over 50 and who would like to learn in a fun environment what's involved in lifting a script off the page and bringing it to life on the stage. You will overcome your inhibitions of performing in front of others, learn the basics of becoming a character in a play through improv and other theatre activities, hone the acting chops which you may already have developed years ago, and rehearse scenes for performance on the OLT stage in front of a gentle audience. We may also touch on such backstage activities as design, props, and directing. You're never too old to become a star!

Prerequisites: Age 50 and over. No other experience or training is required.
